Glazed Porcelain Tile

Glazed porcelain tiles applied to polished tiles combine the advantages of polished tiles and antique tiles, and the surface uses a special formula glaze.

The glazed surface is as smooth as polished bricks, and the glazed surface is rich in patterns like antique bricks, and the colors are thick or gorgeous. The convex glaze is screen printed on the surface of the tiles to form a discontinuous convex granular glaze, which is fired and then polished to make the effect more vivid.

Our polished tile manufacturer specializes in producing and selling polished tiles in various sizes and styles to suit different consumer preferences. You will find your favorite tiles on this page.

Wear Resistance

After being fired at high temperature, the texture is excellent, and it is harder and more durable than other ordinary tiles.

Waterproof Performance

The hardness of the glaze layer on the surface is generally higher than that of other ceramic tiles, so it has good wear resistance and is not easy to rub or wear.

Glazed Porcelain Tiles FAQs

Q: Can I dry-cut tiles?

Silica dust, can be created when cutting tile, which can be dangerous if inhaled. Dry-cutting tile is not advised since it has a significant risk of producing silica dust. The best cutting techniques are wet cuts. Use sufficient ventilation as well to keep dust exposure below safe levels and to keep tile-cutting dust from entering the lungs.
When cutting tiles for installation or removing installed tile, it is advised to use a particulate respirator that has been authorized by NIOSH and MSHA.
Wear safety glasses with side shields or dust-proof goggles. Contact lenses may absorb irritants, so avoid wearing contacts where others are working.
To reduce skin exposure to cuts and/or dust when cutting this product, cotton or leather work gloves should be worn. Before eating, drinking, or smoking, as well as at the end of the workday and following cutting operations, wash your hands.

Q: Can I drill a hole through the glazed porcelain tiles?

Of course, you can do it. However, the only thing hard enough to drill through porcelain is a diamond drill bit. Bits of different sizes are available at your local home center. You can make the tile in different shapes according to your precise measurements under safe conditions.

Q: How do I choose the grout color?

Obtaining grout samples and setting them alongside your tile in the area where they will be fitted is advised. You’ll be able to see how they interact with one another and how the lighting affects them by doing this. It’s personal preference whether you utilize contrasting colors or grout and tile that match.
Tips:
• The color of grout that you will mix with water may vary somewhat from batch to batch.
• You can use a grout stain to fix the color or consistency of the grout if it doesn’t turn out as you had hoped.
• Be aware that grout color might become darker with use and time.

Q: How much loss is appropriate?

We strongly advise buying 10% extra tile than you think you'll need for your house or project. With tiles from the same dye lot and printing method (which can fluctuate somewhat over the years) as the initial installation, you can easily replace cracked tiles or increase the size of your tiled space.

Q: Is it difficult to replace broken tile?

A broken tile can easily be replaced. Using safety equipment, especially goggles, is crucial.
First, remove the grout around the broken tile. Second, use a hammer and chisel to gently remove the broken tile. Finally, remove the tile’s subsurface hard mortar or glue. Using a tile from your stock(the loss tile you buy before), you can now replace the tile and re-grout.

Q: What should I pay attention to when paving tiles in the living room?

1. Specification
There are many specifications for tiles, but the larger the size, the better. It mainly depends on the size of the living room. If the area is large, a slightly larger size of 750x1500mm tiles can be appropriately used. However, if the area is small, paving large tiles not only consumes a lot, but also is not very beautiful. Generally speaking, choosing 800x800 mm for the living room is more appropriate.
2.Color
Currently, the mainstream color of tile is gray, which is dirt resistant, stable, and advanced. However, if you do not choose the right color, it will appear that the home is depressed and dim. Therefore, everyone should choose according to the actual situation at home, and do not blindly follow the trend.
3. Inspection
When receiving goods, it is necessary to check whether the packaging box is marked with the factory name, address, trademark, specification, grade, color number, or production batch number, etc. Check whether the tiles are damaged by bumps, and count the number of tiles.
